From Little Things Big Things Grow: The Rise of Women’s Rugby League

The first Women’s rugby league match was played in Sydney in 1921. A century later female participation is one of the game’s great success stories and a vital component of its overall structure. After fighting to achieve this status the game now faces new challenges to continue growth and expand the footprint. How did we get here and what does the future hold?
